The Albany Pine Bush is an ecological gem with beautiful scenery and rare plants and animals. Well-marked trails are available for hiking and biking. The trails are very sandy, so they dry out well, and offer a chance to practice handling skills for loose surfaces. Trails are suitable for all levels.

The Colonie Town Park trails have fun beginner and advanced sections, as well as open areas of the park to try out basic skills. The trails are more prone to holding water, so heavy rain may shift us to another location for the week. Suited for ALL levels.

Gurney Lane

 

Get off Northway at exit 20 and take left (if heading north on northway) or take a right (if heading south on northway) Drive straight uphill on the road until you see Gurney Lane Park on your right no more than a quarter mile past northway.

Gurney Lane offers all different types of trails from extremely fun single track trails, technical rocky trails with hard lines and easier alternative lines, to wider bench cut trails featuring berms, rollers and endless amounts of flow. The trails have been built and maintained by Wilderness Property Management Inc. and are constantly being maintained and added onto yearly since the summer of 2014.

North Bethlehem Town Park trails are a mini-mountain bike park perfect for beginners. 4 miles of fun, flowy trails are packed into a small footprint. Plenty of gentle trails for those just getting started, plus challenging features for the more advanced riders. Best suited for ALL levels!

Kalabus Perry, Wilton

Kalabus Perry is a slightly more advanced trail system with a good mix of intermediate trails. The trails are fun and flowy with some tight twisty turns. Best for intermediate riders.

SMBA (Saratoga Mountain Bike Association)

The trail head is located just north of the City of Saratoga Springs, at the corner of Clinton Ave and Daniels Road in Greenfield, NY. Follow the map marker to park in the Inner Lot - you’ll turn off of Daniels Road and take a long dirt road to the parking area.
